In 1998 pumpenboese GmbH & Co. KG aquired SBF HAGUSTA GmbH and their subsidiaries in Poland and Spain. Thus added to their own competence the experience of the GWE group and their range of products.

For more than 70 years we are serving our customers with high quality products under these names. Jointly with our customers we develop and offer solutions for their specific applications and problems.

Still the core of the GWE activities lies in development, production and distribution of high quality products for the exploration, extraction, transportation and distribution of water.

Responding to the challenges of the 21th century some members of GWE group are concentrating for several years on ENERGY.
Mainly with products for near surface and medium depth Geothermal applications, as well as glass fibre products for deep geothermal applications and for use in the oil- and gas industry.

The name GWE German Water and Energy stands for vital activities.

In 2007 the GWE group has been acquired by BAUER AG for their newly established BAUER RECOURCES DIVISION. This division is active in the fields of environment, energy, water and raw materials. It is subdivided into materials (GWE) mining and environment. Each subdivision consisting of several group members, each one a competent partner for your applications.
